Friday's show was chock full of comedy! Standup, music, variety and dance performances presented by an eclectic mix of professionals and newcomers had audiences rolling in the aisles.
![]() Carilynn Nicholson Act One Host Carilynn has appeared on TV’s She Kills Me, She’s So Funny, Comedy Now, The Toronto Show and CBC Radio’s Brave New Waves and Madly Off In All Directions. She studied comedy with Toronto’s The Second City and performed in two female sketch troupes. In Victoria, she has performed at Temple Comedy, Phillips Comedy Night, Ratfish Comedy and more. ![]() Kirsten Van Ritzen Act Two Host Kirsten is a professional actor and comedienne, as well as a producer, theatre director, and playwright. She teaches improv, standup and acting in her spare time. Kirsten has received critical acclaim for performances in every major city in Canada. (Vancouver) Headliner Known as the tie-dye comic, Melanie has a unique take on her life and the world around her. She has become a fixture on the Vancouver comedy scene, and has performed in comedy clubs across Canada. She has opened for Mike MacDonald, and been featured on Bite-TV and APTN’s She Kills Me.
